Football: Birmingham’s Sterling Salguero is West Valley League MVP

Junior running back Sterling Salguero of Birmingham has been selected the player of the year in the West Valley League.

The offensive MVPs were Adam Blythe of El Camino Real and junior Chris Duncan of Taft.The defensive MVP is junior Solomone Taufahema of Birmingham. The offensive lineman of the year is German Valenzuela of Chatsworth. The defensive lineman of the year were Trevor Taufahema of Birmingham and Alex Evans of Taft.
