Football: Ben Humphreys is wooing the recruiters

The college offers are starting to pile up for Santa Ana Mater Dei receiver-linebacker Ben Humphreys.
Coach Bruce Rollinson said Humphreys has offers from California, Washington, Washington State, Utah, Yale, Northwestern, Miami, Wisconsin, Oregon State and Duke.
Humphreys will try to be what Thomas Duarte was for Mater Dei two years ago _ a big-time pass catcher and defensive standout.
He also has terrific grades, so as he continues to get faster, stronger and better, the offers figure to increase.
