With St. John Bosco hosting Santa Ana Mater Dei on Friday in a matchup of No. 1 vs. No. 2 in football, you can expect that alumni of the two schools playing in the college ranks will be having some loud debates this week, especially at USC and UCLA.
UCLA baseball standout Ty Moore (Mater Dei) is taking on assistant coach T.J. Bruce (St. John Bosco).
USC catcher Jeremy Martinez might not back down if infielder Dante Flores (St. John Bosco) says his school is going to win.
UCLA football players Jaleel Wadood (St. John Bosco), Christian Wehrly (St. John Bosco) and Jacob Tuioti-Mariner (St. John Bosco) figure to have Thomas Duarte (Mater Dei) surrounded this week.
USC football players Nico Falah (St. John Bosco), Damien Mama (St. John Bosco) and Malik Dorton (St. John Bosco) will have plenty to say to Jonathan Lockett (Mater Dei), Grant Moore (Mater Dei) and Victor Blackwell (Mater Dei).
And don’t count out Naijiel Hale (St. John Bosco) joining in the fun from Washington.
