Boys’ basketball: Birmingham’s Serigne Athj commits to Cal Poly SLO

Serigne Athj, a 6-foot-4 senior guard at Lake Balboa Birmingham, has committed to Cal Poly San Luis Obispo.
He was an All-City selection as a junior and one of the top players from the West Valley League.
He averaged 22 points and 14 rebounds.
