Baseball: Trinity League play begins; ECR to face Chatsworth

It’s a big week in high school baseball, with the Trinity League beginning its weekly series of three-game matchups and City Section powers El Camino Real and Chatsworth meeting in a two-game series.
JSerra and Santa Margarita kick off a three-game series on Tuesday at JSerra, followed by Wednesday at Santa Margarita and Friday at JSerra. Mater Dei plays Servite and Orange Lutheran takes on St. John Bosco.
El Camino Real plays at Chatsworth on Wednesday, then hosts Chatsworth on Friday. Both schools won their two-game West Valley League series last week. Along with Cleveland, the Conquistadores and Chancellors are prime contenders to earn the No. 1 seed for the City Section Division I playoffa depending on who wins the West Valley League.
