Baseball: San Fernando’s Alonzo Garcia commits to UC Irvine
San Fernando right-hander leads 5-2 win over Marshall

Alonzo Garcia of San Fernando, one of the top pitchers in the City Section the last three seasons, has committed to UC Irvine.
He has a 28-6 record at the varsity level and helped lead the Tigers to the City Section Division I title last season.
“I think it’s a great school for him,” Coach Armando Gomez said. “He’s very excited.”
