Taehoon Song of Anaheim Discovery Christian wins Southern Section golf title

There’s no better high school golfer in Southern California right now than Taehoon Song of Anaheim Discovery Christian.
He shot a 6-under 65 on Thursday to win the Southern Section individual championship at Goose Creek Golf Course in Jurupa Valley and move on to next week’s Southern California championships at Brookside.
It was the second consecutive week in which he shot 65.
One of the rising young stars is freshman Ivan Barahona of Crespi. He shot 70 to tie for third place.
