Dodgers fan records himself catching home run ball

The proliferation of handheld devices means practically everyone has a video camera within arm's reach these days, but how many people have managed to record themselves while catching a home run ball?

During the Dodgers' 6-4 win over the Arizona Diamondbacks on Saturday, one fan at Dodger Stadium managed to record himself mitting Aaron Hill's home run ball during the fourth inning. While holding his video camera with his right hand, Bobby Crosby made a beautiful catch that earned him adulation from his fellow pavilion dwellers and a grin from Dodgers left fielder Scott Van Slyke.

Crosby is known for his on-camera catches via his YouTube channel, DodgerFilms.

Dodgers broadcaster Vin Scully was impressed with the catch, and Crosby's video was shown during the Diamondbacks' broadcast of the game.

If Crosby chooses to brag about catching a home run ball at Dodger Stadium, at least he has multiple camera angles to prove it.
