Update: Portland has a dynamic backcourt featuring guards Damian Lillard, who ranks second in the NBA with a 32.0-points-per-game average and entered Tuesday night’s game against Phoenix with 34 assists, and C.J. McCollum, who averages 21.4 points a game and dropped a career-high 37 points on Memphis Sunday night. The Clippers beat the Trail Blazers, 114-106, in the season-opener at Portland on Oct. 27, with Chris Paul and Blake Griffin each scoring 27 points.
