RIVERSIDE — Sophomore Michelle Wu had 21 points to lead the visiting Pirates in the Orange Empire Conference game Friday.
Sydney Driggs added 17 points, while Chyann Pendergrass chipped in 10 points and six assists for OCC (13-7, 1-1 in conference).
Wu had four assists for the Pirates, who forced 26 turnovers.
Vanguard 62, William Jessup 47
ROCKLIN — Senior Claire Lamunu had 21 points and 13 rebounds to lead the visiting No. 6-ranked Lions in the Golden State Athletic Conference game Thursday.
Vanguard (13-1, 2-0 in conference) shot just 29.9% from the field, including missing all 15 of its three-point attempts.
William Jessup (7-4, 1-2) shot 29% from the field.

RIVERSIDE — Newport Harbor High product Nick Harding and Kekai Smith both had 10 points off the bench to lead the visiting Pirates in the Orange Empire Conference game Friday.
OCC (7-10, 0-2 in conference) shot 33.9% from the field and had 22 turnovers.
Riverside is 14-4, 1-0.
William Jessup 75, Vanguard 71
ROCKLIN — Malachi Hoosein and Brandon Brothers had 17 points apiece and Shacquille Dawkins added 14 for the visiting Lions in the Golden State Athletic Conference game Thursday.
Vanguard fell to 11-4, 1-1 in conference.
WJU is 12-5, 2-1.

UC Irvine def. UC San Diego
Senior Michael Saeta had eight kills and 18 assists to lead the host Anteaters in the Mountain Pacific Sports Federation opener Thursday at Crawford Court.
Saeta hit .700 to help UCI (3-0, 1-0 in conference) hit .482 as a team.
UCSD is 0-1.
