Suspect arrested in Fountain Valley vehicle burglary

A Los Angeles man was arrested on suspicion of vehicle burglary in Fountain Valley.

Fountain Valley police responded to the 16700 block of Daisy Avenue at 3:14 a.m. Dec. 23 after receiving a call about a man pulling on car door handles and rifling through a vehicle, authorities said.

A witness told police the man fled in another car, authorities said. The witness followed the car and called police.

Officers stopped the vehicle in the area of Heil Avenue and Walnut Street and found property that did not belong to the man inside, police said.

Arman Maghazei, a 29-year-old student, was arrested on suspicion of burglary, petty theft, possession of stolen property and vehicle tampering, according to police and jail records. He was released from Orange County Jail after posting bond.
