Marian Bergeson: The July 7 article “Bergeson, first woman to serve both state houses, dies” stated incorrectly that Marian Bergeson won the Republican primary for the 74th Assembly seat in 1976 against Jim Slemons. In fact, Bergeson lost in the primary to Slemons.
