A family of four is displaced after a fire broke out Wednesday morning at a home in the 2600 block of Willo Lane in unincorporated Costa Mesa.
Orange County Fire Authority responded to the scene of a “well-involved” structure at 6:58 a.m., said spokesman Capt. Larry Kurtz. Crews had the fire under control just before 7:30 a.m.
Investigators have not yet estimated damage costs, but photos tweeted by Costa Mesa Fire Department show the home’s interior completely scorched. Cause and origin of the fire are still under investigation.
