ANAHEIM — Sean Comer scored 21 points and Kyle Hefner added 18 to help the Mustangs win their pool at the Godinez tournament on Wednesday at Loara High.
The Mustangs (2-0) play Fountain Valley in the quarterfinals on Thursday at 6:15 p.m.

GARDEN GROVE — Senior Josh Mendoza had 32 points, including five three-pointers, to help the Eagles win their pool at the Garden Grove tournament on Wednesday.
Gunner Johnston had 15 points and Martin Harry added nine for Estancia (2-0), which advances to the championship bracket and will meet Artesia on Friday at 5:30 p.m. at Los Amigos High.

Sophomore Chris Moya had a goal and an assist to help lead the Eagles to the season-opening win Wednesday at Jim Scott Stadium.
Sophomore Kevin Pizaro scored the game’s first goal in the 35th minute, off an assist from Moya.
Junior goalie Marcos Solis made five saves.
Estancia had seven shots.
Senior George Mendoza assisted on Moya’s goal in the 75th minute.
