Newport wins on games, 75-64
NEWPORT BEACH — Seniors Megan Bathen and Kaitlyn Cosenza swept at No. 1 doubles, 6-1, 6-0, 6-0, to help lead the Sailors to the nonleague win Thursday.
Junior Kate Knight won two of three sets at No. 1 singles. Seniors Kelsey Christensen and Lexy DeSantis won two of three sets at No. 2 doubles for Newport Harbor (2-3), which plays in the Sage Hill tournament Friday at The Tennis Club Newport Beach.

COSTA MESA — Freshman Kinley Ohland swept at No. 1 singles to help the Eagles earn their first win of the season in Thursday’s nonleague match.
Seniors Brooke Thomas and Serena Kao won two of three sets at No. 1 doubles for Estancia (1-3), which plays at Orange on Tuesday.

LA VERNE — The Sailors rallied from a 1-0 deficit to earn its first win of the season Thursday.
Alex Palmer and Sydney Dexter scored a goal each, while Kirsten Rohan and Taury Hlinka provided an assist each for Newport Harbor (1-0-1).
