Costa Mesa football goes winless in Orange Coast League
Costa Mesa High’s football season ended on Thursday with a 35-3 loss to host Saddleback at Segerstrom High.
The Mustangs (3-7, 0-5 in league) went winless in the Orange Coast League for the first time in the league’s 12-year existence.
Costa Mesa finished in last place in league, while Saddleback (2-7, 1-4) took fifth.
Costa Mesa’s Wally Olmedo converted a 27-yard field goal.
