High School Boys’ Soccer Roundup: CdM’s Mabwa strikes twice in win over St. Margaret’s

Senior Kyle Mabwa scored just three minutes into Saturday’s game against St. Margaret’s, and Corona del Mar High’s boys’ soccer team went on to post a 2-1 win in the Aliso Cup.

Mabwa scored both goals for the Sea Kings, with Aidan Holmes adding an assist.

Senior Campbell Sheppard and sophomore Wally Korbler split time in net for CdM.

CdM will be on the road to face Estancia on Friday.

Senior forward Jack Morrell and junior midfielder Jacob Whitcomb scored goals for the Chargers in the Aliso Cup on Saturday.

Santiago 2, Edison 1

Sander Booij had a goal for the Chargers in their second game in the Aliso Cup on Saturday.
