High School Boys’ Soccer Roundup: Edison ties Esperanza

Edison High senior Jack Morrell and junior Bryan Corona each scored a goal during a 2-2 draw at home with Esperanza in the Aliso Cup on Wednesday.

The Chargers (1-0-1) return to tournament play at Montebello on Friday at 5 p.m.

Junior Johan Hingel scored the Breakers’ lone goal in a season opener on the road Wednesday.
