Danyelle Brown had 12 kills Sierra Brown added kills to help the undefeated Pirates win the nonconference match Wednesday.

Danielle Boyette dished out 26 assists for the Pirates (6-0).

Danyelle Brown led the defense with 14 digs, while Carina Perez added 12 and Casse-Ann Kiriu-Dela Cruz contributed 11.

The Pirates open Orange Empire Conference play on Friday at Cypress College at 7 p.m.

Taos Cadarette scored three goals to lead the Pirates in the Orange Empire Conference win Wednesday.

Jake Davis, Scott Brush, Dillon Avila and Cesar Altamirano each added two goals for OCC (4-5, 2-0 in conference).
