Andi Frisina had 16 digs and Allison Lumsden added 21 assists for OCC (3-0).

Southwestern is 1-5.

The Pirates play at San Diego City Friday at 3 p.m.

LA MIRADA — Jamie Heenan and KaUwila Lavea had 15 kills each for the No. 21-ranked Lions, but the No. 13-ranked Eagles won the Golden State Athletic Conference match, 25-19, 33-31, 25-16, Thursday.

Alexandra Leja led Vanguard (11-6, 0-2 in conference) with 23 assists and Heenan led with 10 digs.

Biola is 14-4, 2-0.
