STANFORD — No. 3-ranked Stanford swept the Anteaters, 25-15, 25-16, 25-18, at the Stanford Invitational Thursday night.

Taylor Smith led UCI with seven kills, while Larissa Nordyke had six kills. Marissa Alvarez had 14 assists to lead the Anteaters (2-2).

Kari Pestolesi led UCI with 12 digs.

The Cardinal (4-0) out-blocked UCI, 9-3

The Anteaters were held to a .080 hitting percentage in the loss while the Cardinal cruised with a .363 percentage.
