COSTA MESA — Senior Ashley Peters earned medalist honors for the host Eagles in the nonleague season opener Tuesday at Costa Mesa Golf & Country Club.

Peters shot three-over-par 38 on the Mesa Linda course. Cassie Stevenson (44), Jillian Tanner (49), Melissa Morel (49) and Frankie Thorpe (50) also scored for Estancia, which opens Golden West League action Thursday against Orange.
