MANHATTAN, Kan. — Aly Squires led all players with 20 kills to go along with 13 digs as UC Irvine swept Oakland University, 25-17, 25-22, 27-25, Saturday at Kansas State.

Squires boasted a .320 hitting percentage, posting just four errors in 50 attempts. Kristin Winkler had 27 digs. Marissa Alvarez handed out 38 assists to go along with 11 digs, while Shannon Fleming fired four aces. Arielle Manz was errorless on the day, hitting .538 (7-0-13).

UCI (1-2) had three players with double digit kills in a loss to Oregon State, which won, 25-22, 20-25, 25-19, 25-22, earlier Saturday. Squires posted a match-high 16 kills, while Marisa Bubica added 14. Winkler had a team-high 26 digs and Alvarez notched 51 assists and 10 digs.
