Breakdown: Estancia hosts defending Orange Coast League champion Santa Ana at Costa Mesa High ... Estancia (2-6, 1-2 in league) is coming off a 61-14 defeat against Orange in which the Eagles netted just two yards in the first half ... Estancia would likely need to upset Santa Ana (5-3, 3-0) to keep its CIF Southern Section Division 13 playoff hopes alive. The Eagles close out the regular season on Nov. 1 at Costa Mesa in the annual Battle for the Bell rivalry game ... The Saints, who are unranked in Division 8, appear headed to a league title showdown for the second straight year, as they face Orange (3-0 in league) on Nov. 1 at Chapman University ... Santa Ana is 8-0 in league play since joining the Orange Coast League last year ... Estancia lost to Santa Ana 55-12 in 2018.
