Leadership Tomorrow hosts citizen training workshops throughout the year intended to build civic leaders in Costa Mesa, Newport Beach, Irvine and Tustin.
Twenty-five citizen participants working their way through workshops where they meet monthly with community leaders.
Their education culminates at a Celebrating Leadership event in June where the organization will honor a nominee from the public with an Outstanding Community Leadership award.
They will also honor a Leadership Tomorrow graduate with an Excellence in Leadership award.
To nominate someone for the Outstanding Community Leadership award, submit a name and reason the person should be honored to Jeff Parker, executive director of Leadership Tomorrow, at 1470 Jamboree Road, Newport Beach or [email protected].
FOR THE RECORD:
An earlier version had the wrong email address for Jeff Parker.
Leadership Tomorrow’s board of directors will select a winner to be honored in a June 5 ceremony starting at 5:30 p.m. at Back Bay Bistro at the Newport Dunes Waterfront Resort.
