A native Californian, Norman was born in Los Angeles, California on November 23, 1930. He passed away peacefully on June 21st with his family by his side.
In 1954, he met the love of his life, Elsa. They were married a year later. They eventually settled in Huntington Beach where they raised their family.
In 1970, he began a successful real estate career and was a member of the Newport Harbor Board of Realtors. He had the highest integrity and he enjoyed building solid and long lasting relationships both professionally and personally. This came naturally to him.
He enjoyed the beach and sports which included tennis, bike riding, and lawn bowling,. He also had many hobbies, but he most enjoyed spending days with his family either on an outdoor excursion at a park or beach or in his backyard. He loved their company.
Norm was generous, kind, loving and touched everyone he met. He will always be loved and missed.
Norm is survived by his wife of 57 years, Elsa, his son Bob and his wife Cheryl, his daughter Sue and her husband Jerry, his granddaughters Holly & Kristine, his son Jeff, and numerous nieces, nephews and other extended family.
Memorial services were held at Pacific View Memorial Park and Mortuary in Corona del Mar on June 29, 2012.
