Serial rapist sentenced to 112 years

A man who raped five women and sexually assaulted a sixth from several Orange County cities, including Huntington Beach and Newport Beach, was sentenced Friday to 112 years to life in state prison.

Sekayi Rudo White, 34, of Lake Forest was found guilty Feb. 2, 2011, of 14 felony counts, including attempted rape, forcible rape, assault with the intent of rape, sexual battery by restraint and criminal threat, according to the Orange County district attorney’s office.

White’s crimes go back to 2002, when he met a 22-year-old at driving school and later raped her at a Santa Ana hotel, prosecutors said. He continued his attacks until 2007, when he was re-arrested after raping a woman while out on bail.
