DUI checkpoint scheduled for Friday
The Huntington Beach Police Department will hold a DUI checkpoint at 9 p.m. Friday on Beach Boulevard.
The department is trying to get impaired drivers off the road before they cause a crash or fatal collision.
“Impaired driving puts everyone on the road in danger, and we are doing everything we can to ensure motorists enjoy a safe, crash-free holiday season,†the department said in a statement.
