Just over two years ago, you were so nervous about becoming a father. You worried if our unborn son would like you, how you would hold our baby and how to change a diaper. Now here you are as a wonderful, confident and hands-on dad, constantly bringing joy to our toddler, Keegan. Dad had a very successful military career (serving us during the L.A. Riots and Desert Storm) without a formal degree, but wanted me to have more options. Emphasizing the importance of education from the time I could talk, he always told me I was going to college and spoke of it in a way that excited my imagination. I owe my success and happiness to my Dad.

My daddy, Kai, brings water bottles to everyone for his job. I love him, he is the best guy in the whole wide world cause he really takes care of us. He takes us to Disneyland and the pool at the desert house too. He reads me books before I go to sleep. I love my daddy.

We love our daddy because he takes us to play T-ball, soccer, tennis and basketball in the alley. We also like it when he takes us to the Fun Zone and gets us candy when mommy says it’s okay. We think daddy is the goodest daddy in the whole world and we love him so much.

Daddy “Big Guy” Steve,
I LOVE YOU DADDY. I have lots of fun with you when we play baseball together and go to baseball games together, when we go to the museum, the aquarium, Disneyland, when you take me to Lowe’s and to play the ‘car games,’ when I get to help you with the plants . . . that’s just naming a few of the my favorites. I also like reading. Thank you for everything that you do for me, and for always teaching me new things. Mommy and I love you verrrrrrrry much . . . to the infinity and beyond!!
