Fredric “Ross” Bushhousen

Ross was born in Corpus Christi,
Texas to Fredrick Gilbert
Bushhousen and Carrie Dee
(McClain) Bushhousen; at age 5
his family moved to Hermosa Beach, CA. He attended
Redondo Union High School where he met his first
wife Helen (Bryson) Jeanplong and with whom had four
sons. He graduated in 1954 and from UCLA in 1962.
Ross worked for defense contractors, realtors, home
loan lenders, operated his own tax preparation business,
loan business and most recently was a teacher’s aide
at Mountain View Elementary School. Ross was a life
long enthusiast of water recreation; he loved to camp
and fly kites. Ross loved music, had a keen sense of
humor and always had a smile. Ross is survived by his
wife Bonnie of Mohave Valley, AZ, son Chris and wife
Annete of Geneva, Switzerland, son Greg and wife Jill of
Murrieta, CA, son Paul of Bullhead City, AZ, son Steve
and wife Cynthia of CA, and eleven grandchildren. He
was preceded in death by his mother Dee in 1978 and
father Fred in 1988. A memorial service will be held
Saturday March 27, 2010 at 5PM at the Mohave Valley
Masonic Lodge in Bullhead City, AZ.
