Loehmann’s opens in Costa Mesa with big names
Loehmann’s lovers, rejoice! Their long-awaited new store at Metro Pointe at South Coast in Costa Mesa opens March 12; the following day, there will be a celebration with guest stars and an 8 p.m. concert by the Band from TV, whose celebrity members include actors Jesse Spencer (“House”), Greg Grunberg (“Heroes”), Bob Guiney (“The Bachelor”), Adrian Pasdar (“Heroes”) and Scott Grimes (“ER”). All of the proceeds from the $35 ticket sales will benefit charity. Tickets are available at other Orange County Loehmann’s stores in Huntington Beach, Laguna Niguel and Tustin. Showplace discount coming up next week
This is the time to upgrade your abode. The Showplace South, 3020 Pullman St., Costa Mesa — the Orange County center for designer furnishings used by those in the interior design industry — is having a blowout sale from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Monday through March 13.
