Kids report naked man in window

A Costa Mesa man was arrested Sunday on suspicion of exposing himself to children in a local mobile home park.

James Ivan Meyers, 67, was arrested at the Sea Breeze Villas, 133 E. 16th St. in Costa Mesa, after police said children reported seeing Meyers standing at his window naked.

The children told their parents they saw Meyers standing at his window nude, and the parents called police to report the incident, Lt. Bryan Glass said.

Police arrested Meyers after speaking with him, Glass said.

Meyers is a registered sex offender and is listed on the Megan’s Law website. He was convicted in 2000 of committing lewd and lascivious acts on a child under 14 years old and sentenced to three years in prison, court records show.
