Cynthia Hill Haug
lived with deep passion,
courage, and joy. Cyndy
passed away peacefully
on January 10, 2010
surrounded by family and
friends. Cyndy lived her
life as a message of hope
to others. She encouraged
everyone she met with
her generous heart, caring
spirit, and dazzling smile.
Cyndy’s light shone bright,
and she was a natural
mentor to others. She touched the lives of many, including
a large circle of women living with breast cancer.
Cyndy was born to Jim and Cathey Hill and grew up
in Glendale, California. She attended San Diego State
University where she majored in Recreation Administration
and was a member of the Alpha Phi Sorority. She worked
in the communications field as a regional sales rep for
Page Net and later followed her passion of serving as a
corporate executive coach. She made Corona del Mar her
home in 1997.
She was an active member of Corona del Mar
Community Church, where she served as head deacon
and led youth Christian education programs and women’s
retreats. She was also very involved with her treasured
Bible Study group.
Cyndy was the beloved wife of Guido, and loving
mother to Giuliana (age 6) and stepson Matt (age 19).
She is also survived by sister Addora Beall and mother
Cathey Hill. She will also be missed by the entire extended
Haug family, Addora’s family, many adoring friends, and
her faith family.
A celebration of Cyndy’s life will be held at 11 a.m.
on Saturday, February 6 at Corona del Mar Community
Church, 611 Heliotrope Ave, Corona del Mar. In lieu of
flowers, contributions can be made to Healing Odyssey,
23591 El Toro Road, Ste. 214, Lake Forest, CA 92630.
