Police seek Wells Fargo bank robber

Police are looking for a man who robbed a Wells Fargo bank in Costa Mesa last week, authorities said Monday.
About 11 a.m. Oct. 19, a man walked in and handed a teller a note demanding money and claiming he had a gun, police said.
The man got spooked, thinking that the silent alarm had been triggered, and fled without any money, said Lt. Paul Dondero.
The robber was described as Latino, 5-foot-8, 190 pounds with brown hair, brown eyes with a mustache and glasses. He was wearing a dark blue baseball hat, jeans and a long-sleeve shirt. Anyone with information may call Det. Dana Potts at (714) 754-5363.
