LAKE FOREST — Goalie Bruce Bearer recorded 17 saves for the Sea Kings in the nonleague game Friday.
Max Bergeson and Chase Watson scored three goals each. Bergeson’s goal with 3:20 left proved to be the game-winner. Michael Liao and Justin Papa had one goal each for CdM (14-3), ranked No. 5 in the CIF Southern Section Division I coaches’ poll. The Chargers entered ranked No. 3.

COSTA MESA — Junior Preston Schow recorded a career-high seven goals in a nonleague match Friday.
Cory Frino scored two goals for Estancia (13-7). Goalie Conner Graham had 21 saves.

NEWPORT COAST — Lightning sophomore Zoe Kreitenberg had 15 kills and seven blocks, but the Tartans won the Academy League match, 28-26, 23-25, 25-20, 25-20, Friday.
Senior Lindsey Kish added 11 kills and 11 digs, while sophomore Tess Wohrle had seven kills and three aces for Sage Hill (7-9, 3-1 in league), ranked No. 3 in CIF Southern Section Division IV-AA. St. Margaret’s is ranked No. 2.
