A Newport Beach man called police about a mysterious pair of loafers he found in his home Sunday.
The man told police about 10:30 p.m. Sunday he heard a loud bang at his door and went to investigate. His front door was open and a pair of loafers, not his, were inside the house about 10 feet just sitting there.
The man said none of his property was missing and it didn’t look like the door had been forced open. No word on whom the shoes belonged to.
