NEWPORT BEACH CLEAN BOATING NETWORKING CONFERENCE
The City of Newport Beach, Project-GreenWorks and the American Legion Yacht Club will be hosting an upcoming Newport Beach Clean Boating Network Conference. This is an educational forum and outreach group of local marine businesses and boaters promoting environmentally sound boating practices. Mark your calendars:

Boat Owners Pump Out Services
Marina Operators Ship Yards
Fuel Dock Operators Paint Manufacturers/Retailers
Hull Cleaning Services Government/Environmental Stakeholders
The following individuals will be making formal presentations:
· Ray Hiemstra with Orange County Coast Keeper will be giving us an update on
the copper TMDL for Newport Harbor and how it will effect each of us.
· Vendor presentations (five minutes each) for products.
· Also, are you aware that the State Water Control Resources Control Board is working on a very stringent monitoring and reporting requirement for all marinas in the state that contain ten or more boats? Will this effect you?
· Question and answer period and time to network with others in your industry.
