The Dog Rescuer

We have four rescued dogs, all seniors, and each one is special. “Navajo” (11) is a retired racing Greyhound and he’s the most loyal and affectionate. I was a foster parent for one day and fell in love with him. “Mr. Puppy (17) is an abandoned Chihuahua we found in the middle of Irvine Ave. He’s the Alpha and the best watchdog. “Boo” (7) is an American Eskimo mix and secretly my favorite because I love big white dogs. He was adopted him from a young couple who couldn’t keep him any longer. Then there’s little “Lambchop” (10), a Poodle mix and our only girl. We got her from a pet store adoption event, a rescue from a rescue. She had a really bad haircut and looked so forlorn. I knew no one would adopt her. We take them out in our kayak and inflatable boat and visit many dog friendly restaurants. We even have a stroller for the two little ones. I’ve rescued seven other dogs over the years and I’d have ten more right now if I could. Rescued dogs are so grateful.
