Newport Harbor Elks Wins Award

The Newport Harbor Elks Lodge Officers attended the Elks California-Hawaii State Convention May 13-16 in the Ontario Airport area. Many awards in all categories were presented to over 200 Lodges in Northern, Central, Southern California and the five (5) Lodges in Hawaii. Exalted Ruler David Leonard accepted the following on behalf of the NH Elks Lodge: President’s Achievement Awards 1)All District(Orange Coast) Lodge Award and 2)All State Lodge Award, Division Four - 701 to 1100 members.

The Cal-Hawaii Elks donated just under $3 million raised for their “Major Project Program” for children with disabilities. Mia Burton was this year’s Theme Child.
