CORONA DEL MAR — Michael Bloom went two for four with five runs batted in and a home run to help the Sea Kings clinch second place in the Pacific Coast League Friday.
Steven Manning (two for three, three RBIs), John Doering (two for two, two RBIs) and Brian Ford (two for two, three RBIs) also contributed for CdM (13-10, 9-4 in league).

LAGUNA BEACH — Gavin Montague struck out two, walked two and allowed one run and five hits in his complete-game performance, leading the Eagles to the upset Orange Coast League win Friday.
Andres Gonzalez went two for three with two runs batted in and a run, while Ryan Boselo was two for four for Estancia (8-15, 4-6 in league).
Alex Trancoso, Troy McClanahan and Victor Trujillo had one hit each.

COSTA MESA — The Mustangs tied and broke the school record for wins in a season during a nonleague doubleheader at TeWinkle Park Friday.
Costa Mesa improved to 18-6.
In the first game, Nick Pederson (5-3) picked up the victory.
In the second game, Brian Waldron hit a two-run home run and drove in three runs.
Tyler Peterson went three for four.
P.J. Maloney improved to 4-2 after six innings of work.

Estancia 17, Godinez 1
SANTA ANA — Amy Hartwell went four for four with four runs and one run batted in for the Eagles in a Orange Coast League game Friday.
Cheyanne Flores was three for four with five RBIs.
Estancia (14-7, 3-2 in league) plays host to Calvary Chapel Wednesday. Calvary Chapel is in first place in league. Estancia needs to win to clinch second place.

BOYS’ TRACK AND FIELD
Academy League finals
CERRITOS — Kevin Schaefer won three events, including the 100 meters in 11.28 seconds and the 200 in 22.46, helping the Lightning win the Academy League championships Thursday.
Sage Hill finished with 160.5, finishing ahead of second-place Oxford (100) and third-place Whitney (84).
Andy Multari won the high jump, clearing 6 feet, 6 inches to break the league record and the school record. He also won the 110 hurdles in 17.19. Blake Myers won the 1,600 in 4:50.15 and 3,200 in 10:50.34. he finsihed second in the 800 in 2:07.6.
Colton Gyulay won the triple jump (42-0 3/4 ) and the long jump (20-3 3/4 ).
Schaefer also won the pole vault (9-6) with Multari (9-0) taking second and teammate Luke Angel (9-0) taking third.
Brian Sun finished second in the 110 hurdles (17.22) and 300 hurdles (43.61).
Multari, Lion Wintemute, Gyulay and Schaefer won the 4x100 relay in 45.54.
Wintemute injured his hamstring and did not compete in other events.
Sage Hill will next compete in the CIF Southern Section Division IV preliminaries May 16 at Carpinteria High.
