PREP ROUNDUP:
No crooked numbers to be found in this game. In fact, the only numbers on the scoreboard were zeros until the Edison High softball team did something about it.
In a battle of Huntington Beach softball powerhouses, the Chargers topped Ocean View, 1-0, in a 10-inning nonleague game March 26 at Edison High.

Edison followed up that win by falling to a tough Esperanza team, 6-5, in the Sunset League opener Tuesday.
The Chargers were ahead 5-0, but Esperanza stormed back for six runs in the bottom of the sixth. Freshman Casey Africano hit a three-run home run for Edison, and senior Jordan Malavar also homered.
