A Newport Beach hair salon says it plans to donate all of the money it makes from giving haircuts on Sunday afternoon to the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society in Orange County.

Stylists at the Basin Street Hair salon at 408 32nd St. will be working for charity from 1 p.m. to 5 p.m. The cuts will cost $28 ($20 if set up in advance).

The Leukemia and Lymphoma Society puts money toward research, education and patient services for those affected by blood cancers. For more information or to purchase a ticket call Lilly McBee at (714) 348-5978.
