POLICE FILES - Feb. 20, 2009

The following is from Feb. 11 through Tuesday.

Area 1

Boat Canyon: A San Clemente man was arrested on a drug warrant after a traffic stop at North Coast Highway at 1:51 p.m. Thursday.

Bonvue Terrace: Cash and four cell phones, totaling about $1,000, were reported stolen from a room in a residence in the 400 block at 12:29 p.m. Saturday.

Cliff Drive: A $400 laptop was reported stolen from an unlocked vehicle at Broadway at 4:06 p.m. Saturday.

North Coast Highway: A purse was reported stolen, with a loss of $5,932, from a vehicle parked at a school lot in the 8000 block at 9:14 a.m. Wednesday.

North Coast Highway: A cell phone was reported stolen from a student’s backpack at a school in the 8000 block at 4:31 p.m. Thursday.

North Coast Highway: A Dana Point man and a Yucca Valley man were cited for a drug violation in the 600 block at 11:38 p.m. Friday.

North Coast Highway: An Irvine man was arrested on suspicion of DUI in the 600 block at 1 a.m. Saturday.

North Coast Highway: A Laguna Beach man was arrested on suspicion of public intoxication in the 100 block of the beach at 4:09 p.m. Saturday.

Area 2

Laguna Canyon Road: A purse valued at $250 and a pair of glasses valued at $500 were reported stolen from a vehicle after the passenger window was shattered in the 20000 block at 2:58 p.m. Thursday.

Laguna Canyon Road: A motorcyclist was taken to Mission Hospital with back injuries after colliding with a truck at the 73 Toll Road at 12:38 p.m. Saturday.

Laguna Canyon Road: A person was ejected from a vehicle that overturned, causing a brief road closure, in the 20000 block near El Toro Road at 2:50 a.m. Tuesday.

Area 3

Broadway: A Los Angeles man was arrested on a drug warrant after an incident at a market in the 200 block at 11:26 a.m. Sunday.

Coral Drive: A jewelry box with $5,000 to $10,000 worth of jewelry was reported stolen in the 1400 block at 5:27 p.m. Thursday.

Ocean Avenue: A $400 camera was reported stolen from a restroom in the 200 block at 10:45 p.m. Saturday.

South Coast Highway: A crystal trophy, valued at $50 to $100, was reported stolen from the box office at a movie theater in the 100 block at 3:31 p.m. Sunday.

Temple Terrace: A $50 iPod was reported stolen by someone who possibly entered a home through a doggy door in the 1200 block at 3:40 p.m. Tuesday.

Area 4

Cress Street: A Corona del Mar man was arrested on suspicion of public intoxication at South Coast Highway at 3:51 a.m. Saturday.

Keller Way: A Laguna Beach woman was arrested on a charge of felony vandalism after allegedly pulling a phone out of a wall while someone was trying to call 911 in the 1000 block at 8:19 p.m. Wednesday.

Moss Street: A Los Angeles woman was arrested on suspicion of DUI on South Coast Highway at 10:25 p.m. Thursday.

South Coast Highway: A woman accused a hotel employee of sexually assaulting her during a massage in the 1500 block at 5:26 p.m. Thursday.

Summit Way: A forged ATM card was reported in the 1000 block at 8:27 a.m. Wednesday.

Area 5

Coast Highway: A male nurse was accused of touching a woman patient inappropriately at a medical facility in the 31000 block at 2:56 a.m. Wednesday.
