Girls’ water polo team remains atop rankings

Two Laguna Beach High winter athletic teams “” girls’ water polo and boys’ soccer “” continue to represent the area in this week’s CIF Southern Section rankings.

Laguna’s stranglehold on the Division II girls’ water polo poll’s top spot continued, while the boys’ basketball team came in at No. 4 in the Division IV-A rankings.

The polls were released Monday by the Southern Section office in Los Alamitos.
