Two men rob four people at gunpoint, police say

Four people were robbed at gunpoint Sunday night in an alley in the Mesa Del Mar neighborhood of Costa Mesa, police said.
Two men approached the victims as they stood in an alley outside their apartment on Mission Drive about 8:15 p.m., according to Sgt. Jerry Hildeman. Police describe one of the men as Latino, 5-foot-7 and 160 pounds, with a thin mustache and wearing a hooded sweatshirt. The other was described as Latino, 5-foot-5 and 170 pounds and wearing a hooded sweatshirt.
The suspects allegedly stole cash, wallets and cell phones from the victims. The men escaped in a white compact car, police said.
No arrests have been made, according to Hildeman, and the investigation is ongoing.
