COSTA MESA — Estancia’s George Olivas scored from the top of the 18-yard box in the 62nd minute for the game-winner in the Orange Coast League home game Friday.

Jesus Garcia assisted on Olivas’ goal. Garcia also scored in the 21st minute, giving Estancia (14-1-6, 5-0-2 in league) a 2-0 lead. Martin Garcia headed in a goal after a pass Ricky Gomez in the fifth.

The Eagles are in first place in league, one point ahead of Calvary Chapel. The teams meet in the regular-season finale Wednesday at 4:30 p.m. at Estancia.

IRVINE — The Sea Kings recorded their 11th shutout of the season and moved into a tie for first place in the Pacific Coast League Friday.

Sophomore goalkeeper Lindsey Luke had four saves in the first half and freshman goalie Sarah Cox recorded four saves in the second half for CdM (9-3-7, 4-1-1 in league).

CdM Coach Bryan Middleton said the Sea Kings are tied with University, which lost to Beckman on Friday. CdM has two matches remaining and must earn a win and a tie to clinch at least a share of the league title.

The Sea Kings will play against Beckman on Monday at 3:15 p.m. at Harvard Park in Irvine. If the field is too muddy from the rain, the teams will play at Irvine High.

St. Margaret’s 32

NEWPORT COAST — Senior Tierney Danner had 15 points, 11 rebounds and nine steals for the Lightning in their Academy League game Friday.

Senior Stephanie Garrison contributed 10 points, 10 rebounds and eight steals, while junior Hannah Jeffrey added six points and 10 rebounds for Sage Hill (14-8, 5-3 in league).
