Helen Marguerite Wherry

Helen Marguerite Wherry of Lake Forest, California passed away peacefully Wednesday February 4, 2009. Born in Calgary, Canada June 20, 1921 to parents Lavina & Austin O’Brien . She married Thomas K. Wherry November 11, 1947 after meeting Tom in Canada while he was serving in the United States Air Force. After moving to the United States and becoming a citizen November 23, 1951 in North Hollywood, Ca. they settled on Balboa Island in 1972 where they enjoyed life, family and friends. Marguerite was preceded in death by both her parents, brother Austin and daughter Sharon. She is survived by her loving husband Tom, daughter Sandra, sons Steve & Jeff, 9 grandchildren and 8 great grandchildren. The family has decided to have a private service so please say a prayer for Marguerite we love her and we miss her. In lieu of flowers please make donations to the American Heart Association.
