PETCO celebrates grand re-opening this weekend

PETCO is celebrating the grand re-opening of its recently expanded and remodeled store at NewportNorthShopping Center. Located at MacArthur and Bison, PETCO is hosting a variety of activities for pet owners and their pets Friday, January 23 through Sunday, January 25.

On Friday, there will be free PETCO mouse pads for the first 50 P.A.L.S., (“PETCO Animal Lovers Save”, the company’s exclusive membership program, which offers savings and invitations to events.) In addition, there will be a Pet Photo Contest where customers can submit photos of their pets, and from 5 to 7 p.m. the first 50 P.A.L.S. customers can receive a free 8 lb. bag of cat litter.

From 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. Saturday, there will be free professional pet photography for the first 30 P.A.L.S. only, and from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. free pet caricatures will be offered.

On Sunday, the first 50 P.A.L.S. will receive a free re-usable PETCO shopping bag, and from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m., there will be free professional pet photography for the first 30 P.A.L.S. only. From 11 a.m. to 5 p.m., PETCO will have a pet psychic available, and at 2 p.m., there will be contests for the Biggest and Smallest Dog, Best Dressed Pet, and best Pet-Owner Look-Alike.
