Five Anteaters named All-Academic in MPSF

UC Irvine had five players among the Mountain Pacific Sports Federation All-Academic selections for men’s water polo.

Juniors Greg Enloe, James Frank and Harvey Newland were joined by teammates Griffin Lerman, a sophomore, and redshirt freshman Sam Figueroa among the honorees, who had to at least have a 3.0 grade-point average, completed at least one full year at their schools and competed in half of their team’s contests.

Enloe, who ranked second on the team that finished 11-15 with 52 goals, posted a 3.40 GPA.

Lerman (26 goals) had a 3.48 GPA, while Frank (23 goals) posted a 3.38 GPA.

Newland, who had two goals, led the group with a 3.70 GPA, while Figueroa (seven goals) had a 3.36 GPA.
