It takes 40 days to cultivate a consciousness that can realize a truth. That’s why I adapted “The 40-Day Prosperity Plan” by John Randolph Price. In Price’s approach he introduces 10 statements about the nature of a prosperous consciousness and invites you to take 15 minutes to contemplate one statement each day.
For example the first statement is, “God is lavish, unfailing abundance, the rich omnipresent substance of the universe. This all-providing source of infinite prosperity is individualized as me — the reality of me.”
This is more than positive thinking; it is constructive thinking. But some don’t see the immediate value of such an exercise. However, the great teacher Jesus was clear. In his brilliant parable of the sowers he tells of those who sow their seeds (the creative ideas God has given) along a path where birds come and eat them; or those who sow their seeds on rocky ground with no depth and the sun scorches them as they grow; or those who sow their seeds among thorns and weeds that choke them when they come up. But for those who plant their seeds in cultivated ground, their yield is fantastic and exceeds all expectations. Prosperity is a conscious way of life that must be cultivated.
Each week new study guides will be provided to help cultivate your wealth consciousness. Each week a new mini-lesson will be posted on our website ( www.cmcsd.org). I’ve created a special 40-day journal with a 15-minute mediation CD available at our bookstore on Sundays. This is a great tool you can use to form your own Prosperity Study Group.
Combine this with my visionary class In December and you’ve got a winning combination of tools you can use to transform your life. Come to one of our Sunday services at 9:30 or 11:15 a.m. and pick up a free seven-day study guide. We meet at 695 W. 19th St. Our vision is simple: to open hearts and minds to infinite possibilities.
